As we pray for God’s blessing upon the organisations, working to provide aid to those who suffer in such disasters, ask that world leaders may be given wisdom and courage to tackle the problems urgently.

The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases - Lamentations 3.22-23. After I spoke about this verse last week, it seemed to hit a chord. Some asked for the reference, others wondered whether it might be a special verse for St James’ to hold in mind during 2018. They are good words to remember and encourage us for this year. ‘ The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases, his mercies never come to an end, they are new every morning, great is your faithfulness’. Brendan

Please note that the Parish Office will be closed next Tuesday, 16 January, for one hour from 10am to 11am. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
