Suggestions for Prayer

Let us give thanks for the life and daily witness of St James’ and the Church on the Corner, as we seek ways to minister both to the local community and those further afield. Pray too, for the new Alpha course: for all involved and who endeavour to make it successful and challenging and that those attending may grow in faith and develop a deep love for Jesus.

Men’s Breakfast on Saturday 19 January at 8.30am to 10am at St Joseph’s Church Hall. Men from the local Wetherby Churches are invited to St Joseph’s Hall for a full breakfast, followed by a talk. Honorary Canon of Ripon Cathedral– Bishop Nick has invited Brendan to become an Honorary Canon of Ripon Cathedral. The Service of Installation will be at 3.30pm on Sunday 27 January, followed by a reception for everyone. All are warmly invited, indeed Brendan would greatly value your support. The Cathedral have asked that we supply approximate numbers of those attending, so if you would like to attend, please put your name on the sheet in church. Thank you.

Hosts/Leaders for 2019 Lent Home Groups– We are currently starting to plan the Lent Home Groups for 2019 and we are now looking for people who would be willing to host, lead or host & lead a group.
