Daggi Aristotelous– I am very sorry to advise you that following a short illness, Daggi sadly died on 1 January 2019. The funeral arrangements have not yet been finalised, but the service will be held at St Paul’s Church, Shadwell, Leeds, before the end of this month. As soon as we have further information, we will notify everyone. It would be very helpful if you could please let the Parish Office know if you would like to attend. Thank you. Brendan

Suggestions for Prayer

Today we are reminded of the Wise Men who, in their search for a King, discovered the Christ Child and, having found Him, offered their worship and their gifts. As we enter 2019, let us re-dedicate ourselves in His service and together encourage each other to offer our gifts and talents and, by His grace, seek to extend His Kingdom here on earth.

Flowers – The flowers in the pedestal at the front of Church are in loving memory of Barry Wilkinson, Mavis’s husband. The fifty red roses, in the porch last week, were in loving memory of Graham Siswick, with love from Jennifer, on what would have been their Golden Wedding Anniversary. Shirley Fawcett
