Suggestions for Prayers

This week the International Firefighters’ Day is observed, when we can give  thanks to God for the skill and courage of the firemen and women. Pray especially for those affected by stress and various mental health issues as a result of their work. Grant them protection and support, as they put their own lives at risk, as they work to protect the general public and when they respond to terrorist attacks and disasters like the Grenfell Tower disaster.

Pray for People in the Sandringham Road area of Wetherby: Sandringham Road, Barleyfields Lane, Northgates, Grosvenor Terrace, York Place, Northgate House.

This week Churches in Wetherby pray for:   All who suffer from alcohol abuse and dependency
