For all who serve as volunteers and for the role of the chaplains. We remember too those within the Wetherby Young Offenders’ Institution.

GDPR– In the coming weeks we will be contacting people so that our records are updated in accordance with the new legislation. Please look out for our communication. We do not want anyone to miss out on the good things happening in and around St James’. Brendan/Parish Office 01937 583074

Welcoming– We try to keep St James’ open to the public each weekday morning during the summer months. Last year, we welcomed over 700 visitors during our ‘open season’, many who were parishioners and other visitors who had made a point of calling at the Church in the hope it would be open. All this is possible due to a number of volunteer ‘Welcomers’ who enable the Church to be accessible to anyone who wished or needed to visit. We would love to continue this service and to possibly extend it. With your help this would be possible. We have a rota of volunteers who give around 2 hours of their time a month. If you would like to consider helping in this valuable service to the Church and the community, please contact me. Thank you. Jill Rose 01937 586640 or email jilly.rose@gmail.com

Quiz – The quiz for June is entitled ‘Famous: Cars, Women, Firsts & People in UK TV Adverts’. The quiz costs £1.00 and all proceeds go to support the mission of the Church. Thank you. Susan Armstrong 520763.
