Suggestions for Prayers - As we pray for the hospitals and care homes serving the different needs of our community, let us pray for the staff, volunteers and family members who care for the elderly and frail; for providing love and friendship and all that will enrich their lives. For those suffering with dementia and other debilitating illnesses. “Lord, help me to bring comfort where there is pain, courage where there is fear, hope where there is despair and acceptance when the end is near.” (Nurse’s prayer)

St James’ Church and Community Fete - Saturday 9 June 10.30am-2pm

Fete Day is Almost Here!  - are you able to help? There are a number of jobs that we require help with, eg. serving the barbecue, manning the tombola or raffle. Friends Bottle Bola Stall – The Friends of Wetherby Parish Church Music are once again running the popular ‘Bottle Bola’ stall. If anyone would like to donate any bottles, complete with contents of your choice, please leave them in the box which will be in the church porch on Sunday mornings!
