Suggestions for Prayers

This week TEAR Fund celebrates 50 years as a Christian relief and development agency which has worked in over 50 countries. Its main work is to aid those in severe poverty and provide disaster relief. It was through TEAR Fund that a group from St James and the Methodist Church went to Nepal last year to experience how many people seek to exist in countries in which the situation is so different to our own. Pray that, “responding to Christ’s love, nations throughout the world would fight not to kill but strive to care for the poor in actions of gracious generosity” - Archbishop Justin Welby. Pray too for all who are in the midst of school and college exams, especially those entering the job market.

Pray for People in the Deighton Road Area of Wetherby: Deighton Road, North Grove Road, North Grove Avenue, North Grove Crescent, North Grove Drive, North Grove Way, North Grove Approach, North Grove Mount, North Court Grove, Stone Dean Park, Appleby Way.
