Suggestions for Prayers

Today is Bible Sunday when we can celebrate the availability of the Bible in this country, recognising that the Bible is prohibited in many countries while, in others, it is yet to be translated into a particular language. Pray that we can consider the value of the Bible in our lives and that more people will be inspired to read God’s word for themselves. We give thanks for the work of the Bible Society, which was founded as the British & Foreign Bible Society in 1804.

People in the Grasmere area of Wetherby:  Grasmere Avenue, Grasmere Drive, Butterwick Gardens, Ennerdale Close, Buttermere Avenue, Ambleside Walk, Coniston Way, Thirlmere Drive, Grizedale Close.
