Suggestions for Prayer
Our care for creation:  Pray for those who seek to reduce the problems of pollution and carbon emissions.  Help us to encourage our neighbours and friends to conserve energy and to recycle wherever possible.
People in the north Barleyfields Road area of Wetherby:  Barleyfields, Maple Drive, Poplar Avenue, Oakwood Road, Coxwold Hill, Coxwold View.
Churches in Wetherby this week are praying for: Wetherby and Collingham Methodist Churches.

Posada – Once again, Mary and Joseph will be setting off from Church on Sunday 1 December. They will require a place to stay each night during Advent and would love to be included in your family activities. Friends Invitation Service on Advent Sunday 1 December at 6.30pm.  Come along and join us at a lovely Advent Carol Service with contributions by the Friends of Wetherby Church Music.  After the Service, refreshments will be provided.
Friends Christmas Coffee Morning with Carols on Saturday 7 December in the Centre from 9.30am to 12 noon.  Thank you. The Friends
 
Christmas Crackers at St James’ on Saturday 7 December 2-4pm – An afternoon of ‘all things Christmas’ - crafts and activities for primary school children. Toy Services – Sunday 8 December. We would be delighted for any gifts of new, unwrapped toys, gifts for teenagers and vouchers, to pass on to St James’, Seacroft. They organise this brilliant scheme which brings much joy. Thank you. Brendan

Calling Mary, Joseph, Shepherds and Angels – our Nativity Service needs you! If your children would like to take part in this simple service on Sunday 22 December at 10am, please contact Sarah Sharp 07500 262306. Rehearsals will be on Sundays 1, 8 & 15 December 10-10.4am. Thank you. Sarah

Pantomime - Friday 27 December at 2pm - This year's panto is at Harrogate Theatre for a performance of Snow White. The Friends pay for the tickets for all musicians and also the coach, as a thank you for their time and commitment given over the year to maintain the wonderful musical tradition enjoyed by all at St James. The coach will leave the Cluster of Nuts carpark at 1pm. There are still tickets available, which are now offered to members of the congregation. A contribution of £15 pp is requested from non musicians. This includes both the theatre ticket and the coach.
