Suggestions for Prayer
Bible Sunday when we can be reminded of the privilege we have of being able to read the Scriptures in our own language, while many worldwide do not have this opportunity. We give thanks for the important work of the Wycliffe Bible Translators continuing to translate in those countries still waiting for bibles that they can read.

St James’ Bells to Ring for Services Again? – but only if there are people who would like to learn to ring and form a new band! If you can climb steps, stand up and count, there is a good chance you can learn to ring a bell. No Trick, Just Treat! on Thursday 31 October 6pm to 8pm in the Church/Crypt. The Children’s Society are holding a Coffee Morning on Saturday 9November at Wetherby Town Hall. We will have all the usual favourites, books, bric-a-brac, tombola and, of course, refreshments, ie cakes and bacon butties. Please come along and support us.
